First time here. Food & service were great. My bf had chilaquiles & I had machaca con huevos with corn tortillas. Also enjoyed the chips & salsa. Green salsa was fire. They're moving to downtown Fairfield in a few weeks. Will definitely be going again. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp did not disappoint with this recommendation. Was looking for a good Mexican spot after going on the Jelly Belly tour and this place was pretty close by. The location is tucked in but I heard they're relocating downtown soon. The flavors are delicious and the salsas have just enough kick. The service was very good. Highly recco!

Stopped by for a quick bite. It was quite busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly. I ordered the sope with carne asada and gordita with chicharron. The gordita wasn't as crispy as I would've liked, but I enjoyed the sope. Hubs ordered tacos and a tostada and he liked them both. Kiddo finished off hus carne asada plate. The tortillas were good. Maybe because it was busy, service was a bit lacking. Had to ask for silverware and, when it was brought, not enough were brought. Also note - they charge extra if paying by credit card.

My husband had the menudo and said it was the best restaurant menudo he's had! I had the regular breakfast burrito (with potatoes) and it also was delish. The Tortillas were homemade! Wow. Super yummy coffee too. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend!

This place was too good for me not to make a review!! It was our first time and the staff were very kind and the restaurant itself looked very clean and cozy. The table chips and dip? Fire. Especially the green salsa. We ordered the super burrito and fiesta platter, both with carne asada. Both portions were generous and one entree would be enough for two people. The flautas were perfectly crispy (not overly greasy), and the homemade tortilla and char on the meat really made the burrito sooo good. You could tell the food was made fresh to order and taste the freshness of the ingredients. So glad this is close to home, since it'll definitely be my go to Mexican restaurant now!!

Oh, so delicious!! If only they'd move to the Sacramento area, I'd eat there at least once a week! We're vegetarians, so we were tickled to find out the beans are vegetarian. So many places use lard, but not El Pitayo. And all the tortillas are homemade!! The service was also epic! The owner himself served us and was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. This location kind of feels like a hole in the wall. It's not very inviting, and it was very chilly inside on this cold night. But they are relocating soon, so we're eager to see what the new place is like next time we're in town. By the way, I highly recommend the enchiladas suizas and potato tacos!

WOW! We stopped to this place on our way to Tahoe and didn't expect it to be soooo delicious!! Amazing service - seems like a family owned business but the lady is always smiling. When I took a bite of the taco, it was so flavorful and I could taste all the ingredients from it. They definitely make their tortilla home-made because there was something different about it - thick, chewy, filling, and yummy. Price is affordable and their sauce that comes on the side was a perfect combo with the tacos. Also ordered their horchata and they said they processed it out of oatmeal while making it. We ordered a second large one on our way leaving because it was addicting. Not too milky, not too sweet, so good. Come and support this business when you're in the area.

Geez I love this place. I've been here so many times and the food and service is ALWAYS consistent. I never have time to take a picture because I'm always in a rush to devour my food lol. This is a cute little mom and pop shop that reminds me of Mexico with the vibrant colors. When you walk in the staff is always super friendly and attentive. I've tried multiple things on the menu but the super chicken burrito is always my go to. Either way all the food is delicious and authentic. The corn and flour tortillas are home made and very filling. The tacos are pretty big and filling so I can never eat more than two. And the salsa is sooo good and has a good kick to it. Go support and leave a review. The food is bomb and so is the service!

Service is a bit slow but I'm assuming it's because there was only 1 waitress working. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. The inside is quite small but we enjoyed our food and thought the prices were good for what we got. My boyfriend got the carne asada super burrito, which was definitely super big. I got the fiesta fajita trio. My boyfriend really liked his burrito and thought the meat was flavorful. I also really liked my meal because the meats were flavorful and the tortilla they gave was very soft. The only thing I didn't really like was that the fajitas were pretty oily.
